Our Approach to Parenting
We grew up in two very different environments but we both had loving parents who did their best to make sure we were instilled with certain values. We would like to pass on some of these things to our child.

We plan on creating a relationship that respects boundaries and that includes you and your family in the child’s life. We would like to develop a relationship with you that is comfortable and respectful of all of us. This relationship may even include your family. We will respect your boundaries and understand that this relationship will continue to change throughout the child’s life.

- Every person deserves to be treated with respect and dignity - no matter what their history or what they have had to face in their lives.
- Every child deserved a safe and happy home.
- You should always speak up when you think something is unfair and strive for equality.
- Empathy is essential to getting through tough situations.
- There is no room in this world for cruelty to animals.
- Cheap chocolate is better in the fridge.
Our Approach to Parenting

- Exchange photos and emails on a regular basis with you and your family
- Plan visits
- Maintain contact on an on-going basis – you should never feel like you don’t know where we are or what is going on in the child’s life
